Chemistry A level help polymers
Hi, I am stuck on a couple of questions in this paper. On question 2 d) I am struggling to work out how they get that product. Also on questions 3d)ii and iii, when it asks about it's reaction with NaOH in ii, is this essentially the structure more basic that it's isoelectric point? Wouldn't the o- in the molecule react with the na+? In part iii is it asking for the structure when it is more acidic that its isoelectric point? Also, I am stuck on part iv too - how do you work this out?
