Help with education choice
Hi there,
so when i leave education i want to become a IT Technian however i would also like to do a english degree which i know isnt relavent. ive got places in to colleges: one to do a level english lit, rs and chem and at the other college to do a IT Technian btec. im really stuck as i love english but want a job in IT Tech. i have no and am not currently taking any IT qualifications however i do really want to become a IT tech but want to study english. Any advice? additional my parents have a probelm with btecs so if i do decide to do the btec how would i convince them to let me.

Firstly, it's your choice not your parents.
Secondly, why do you want to do an English degree? What would an English degree give you that reading books and talking about them online/with friends doesn't?
