Fast Track or attempt at AS?

Weird title, I know just read and you'll see.

So, I'm in a bit of a situation. I really want to study biology A-level but I'm unsure whether to do it now or try the fast track. Doing it now seems easier but I don't know if it will affect my other subjects bad enough for a low prediction grade for UCAS? However, fast track's are expensive and could be just as stressful although I could start revising for them as early as August with a clean head after exams. Any help?
