How have funding cuts impacted your FE college? Get your voice heard in Parliament

Last month, Richard Graham MP, along with 163 MPs from across the political parties submitted a letter to the Chancellor demanding an above-inflation increase in FE college funding.

In the letter, the MPs said that:

“While government policy has protected the incomes of schools and universities, colleges have been dealt an average funding cut of 30 per cent over the last ten years”.

“We believe this constraint on FE resources has had an impact on the teaching, courses and above all opportunities for young people and skills of all ages”. More details in FE Week.

To follow up, on 2 April he is leading a debate in Westminster Hall on the topic. He’ll be discussing the issues related to FE funding, and pressing a Government Minister for action.

To inform his speech and remarks, he wants to hear from you:

- How has a lack of funding affected your college
- If your college received more funding, what would you like to see the extra money spent on?
