How many chiral centres? I put 1...

Me tooooooo
general consensus in my school is that it's Pb3O4

about 33%

33.8%
Empirical formula for lead oxide is Pb3O4
Thats what i did too

And then it was like -57 -8.somethings so it was like -65 overall I think?
Was there a pv=nrt question
Did u use that for entropy calculation, like did u add 273 to it?
(Original post by Melwin4417)Yh I got that
Wouldnt you just add a base like NAOH and it would fizz and effervescence
Original post by binkyboos
Same :/ what would u observe tho
For Ka
I got a value of 8.something * 10^-10
Just have a question for people who got 1.somehting*10^-10
Why didn’t you use the density to find the new volume.
Because if you did mass 4.80 divided by 100^3
you wouldn’t get the density value they give you.
That 100cm^3 is for all the compounds in the bottle/product .
You have to do density * mass = volume of that desired organic compound

Machemguy said phenol is too week to overseer any effervescence
Phenols cant react with carbonates but they can defo react with bases that's for sure
I just hope that the grade boundaries go a little lower
Tbh it wasn't a bad paper it was time that was a problem if it was a 2 hour paper then it would have been a gift

How the compound was a cyclic Alkene with a methyl group attached and then on carbon 4 a branched ethyl group with a oh group there was one chicral carbon which was -ch3-c-ch3 -oh and ring and one was carbon 4

Because carbon 4 was attached to two different ring bits and that branches ethyl alcohol group chain and a hydrogen?
