Thanks! It's just that at the start of the presentation everyone was very attentive but then I started talking about biology and everyone started slouching and looking really confused. I personally thought it went really well.

maybe they just thought it was too long. or maybe the speeches were?

Yeah it was around 23 minutes long when it's meant to be around 15.

Just checked my result on resultsplus and my mark dropped.
Teachers marked it at 50/54 so an A* and they dropped it to 46/54 which is an A.

Good luck! Tell me how it goes. What are you doing about the nerves? I've asked my centre co-ordinator to throw out anyone who I don't invite to my presentation - so I'm presenting to a smaller audience and I'll be less nervous. But this is embarrassing of course, so I'm pretending that it's 'history students only' - basically, I've only invited a few people from my history class 'since the EPQ topic is historical.' That's my cover up. In reality, I just don't want to present to an audience of more than 15 - I'd be too nervous.
I'm going to tackle my second draft tomorrow/Sunday! Pits off my bloody revision again!
For anyone preparing for their presentation, I have uploaded mine to YouTube which you may find helpful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osFHkj7Dyi4

I have posted a link to my presentation slides in the comments of the video.

If anyone has any questions regarding the presentation or anything related to the EPQ I am happy to help.

Is it not better to have a non-specialist audience there (for AQA anyway)?

I can't see any reason why audience should matter. Unless your presentation is inaccessible to non-specialists, which it shouldn't be.

Thank you! Will do

Your presentation looked great! I hope I come across as confident as you, during my Q&A sesh!

Thanks for that - it's much appreciated!

My advice would be to just to go through the content of you presentation and make sure you know your project - and the relevant subject theory surrounding it - really well. Also, think about what questions people may think of from the content of your presentation and how you may respond to these.

Good luck!

The deadline for the essay is next Friday, but my supervisor wants it in on Monday and I'm only around 3,000 words in
