Physics exam technique help

Hello, I’m very concerned because I seem to really struggle with physics exam papers. I’m doing OCR B and I seem to understand the content okay but when I’m given an exam question to do I freeze up. Even if I’m doing a practise with my notes, I still don’t understand what the question is asking me to do, it sometimes makes no sense. Does anyone have any advice on how to interpret exam questions and know what a paper is asking? Thanks
