Revise from day 1!
Atleast spend 2 hours a day from the beginning of the year with revision/homework then as you progessively do that all the way till exam dates it wont seem like a large amount. I wish i did this at the beginning of gcses and year 12

1 understand- study the concepts topics etc
2 summarise- make summary of main ideas,themes etc. use bullet points,mind maps patterned notes
3 memorise- cover notes,write main points,speak out loud(record yourself),tell someone, repeat many times
4 track/review-create revision diary, make plans for topics,record revision in diary
