In student accommodation, like the 'UNITE STUDENTS' or 'HOST' brands, the internet is actually insane. (This isn't a plug...)
When I was using Ethernet, I was getting 100 mbp/s with a ping of around anywhere from 5-15. Considering it's bills all included, I would say this tip still checks out. Some student internet in houses can still be great. I'm averaging around 69 mbp/s where I live right now.

If you live in student accomodation, like I did, then the internet speeds are crazy haha
