Postgrads! when are you moving in?

To campus that is, if you are living there. I've just been given an offer and i'm so happy. But the offer is quite vague about when i can move in. I really want to get stuck in as soon as possible, but how awful to be the only one in a new flat. So, when is everyone thinking of heading into halls?

OP if you are in Tocil then there will already be a lot of Medics there, as we start on 8th sept so the ones in Tocil move in on the 7th. You definitely won't be alone.

I'm moving to Tile Hill in 2 days! Got a house like 10 minute drive from uni. So excited!

Got my offer, i'll be in Heronbank, can't actually remember if that's even where i wanted but i'm just happy to have an offer. Think i shall move in on the 27th, i'm pretty excited, if a bit nervous. Is it considered normal for postgrads to want to relive their original freshers experience when they start at a new uni, i.e. drinking and partying is the best way of getting to know strangers, or is straight to work the more common attitude?
