English lit and language for uni
I’m going to do English literature and language as a combined a level. Would a university not prefer that because i know they take more interest in students who’ve done literature and history’s because they’re 2 very hard subjects so getting good a levels in them appeals more. Would doing lit and lang as a combined a level discourage my chances at university ??

Unlikely to make any difference unless you were applying for a straight course in one or the other.
Simply check the entrance requirements for your target unis.
