Things to do in a gap year?

Im going to a degree in criminology and i just want to know things that i could do that would help me settle in to the degree.
Or even random things that can keep me educated/not bored during my gap year (other than a job).

Yes! There are special constable roles, where you get to wear the police uniform and go around within the community and work with full-time police. You are trained volunteers and you have to put in a certain amount of hours a month but apart from that its pretty good and would look good on a CV probably :smile:
