Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

What is better for physics- Cambridge or Imperial? And do I have a chance

I'm currently in year 12 and a few weeks ago, I kept overhearing those in year 13 about their Oxbridge applications as it was nearing the deadline, which got me thinking about the same process for next year.

I'm currently doing Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computing as my 4 A-levels.

My GCSE results are as follows:
Maths - 9
Further Maths - 9
English Language - 6
English Literature - 5
Biology - 8
Chemistry - 9
Physics - 9
Computing - 9
History - 9
Spanish - 7
Music - 7
Geology - 9
Clearly my English is going to be a point of concern.

So which would be a better pick for undergraduate physics (especially quantum and particle physics as I wish to work at CERN in the future). Also, are there any other universities I need to look out for?
