CT 1 post anaesthetics

I have been offered a CT1 anaesthetics post in England. I have this weekend to decide to accept it.

I live over in Ireland and have done since medical school, with my partner.

I was originally planning to apply to the NHS for the August Start date. I applied for the feb cycle as a practice and to evaluate my portfolio and experience. Whilst I’m very pleased to have been offered a post, I don’t know the risks of not taking it hoping I will get one in August.

I would have to leave Ireland in 2 months, which seems a short time to sort out my apartment here and my life. my family who live in England, are no where near the post. I would be moving to a new place alone with no where to live and needing to isolate for 14 shays. Considering the difficulties with travel and relocating, I’m not sure what to do.

Does it can anyone offer me any guidance or insight on what to do?

Thank you.
