ooft that sucks. You have different lengths of days throughout the week??? :s-smilie:

I start wi double negosh(work experience) then double PSE.

Really i have 2 periods,

Just noticed i dont get business tomorow, which is great cause i didnt do the holiday homework. :o:
Only Monday, every other day we finish at 3 oclock

Lucky you:frown:
I have Regi, Bio, English, then doing UCAS (starting the personal statement :s-smilie: scary stuff:p: ), double history then double computing :>.<:

Well we finish at 3:30 every day, so i guess your way is better.
I like finishing earlier because it means I can have more time after school to do things
(Like Supported study, and help the elderly which will be good for my personal statement and things like that )
But we need to start at 8:45 now:frown: so i need to wake up at 7
But sleep is what free periods are for :p:

Our tuesdays and thursdays are 15 minutes longer because just before/after lunch we get Something called Tutor group, which serves as a sort of reggie, because we don't have one.

On tuesdays and thursdays we get double periods of a subject in the afternoon (The same subject for both).

On tuesdays. I have 1 class overall.
One hour of maths.
Wonderful.
On mondays and tuesdays we have a super-long day: 8:45 - 13:50. A triple period first thing in both - thank God I have two free periods on Tuesday morning!

And regi's changed: it's now Tutor Time. New name, with even less point.
Well, it does have a point, I suppose. But it doesn't mean I have to love every one of its 10 minutes.
Our regi lasts 20 mins
And i dont see the point of it
I think we are supposed to do stuff but we never do so its just 20 mins extra sleep or chatting

We only get a long day on Monday - all 7 teaching lessons (in general for all years). 8.50 - 3.35. Then Tuesday-Friday is 6taught periods with Tutor time of 25minutes at the start. 8.50 - 3.10.

Tomorrow I have bloody studies morning for Business and French (self studies, so I basically chat with others.... and learn vocab. Then a weekly 6h year assembly. Double core PE then Double Business Management. I used to have first 2 free :frown: and last 2 free until summer when I dropped a subject and took up Business and we were forced in to only 2 free periods per week! :frown:
6th year is rubbish, the only good thing about it was the common room (we had an awesome commom room!) for socializing, but we had it taken off us. Everyone is arguing about prom... The headmaster is making the 6th year wear blazers!! Wtf!? Our school is a stupid little state school, why the hell are we being charged for blazers that everyone refuses to wear! Blah blah...

We did get a load of foreign exchange students though, and I have made a very good friend out of it. It's not all bad...

Our S6 is horribly segmented. Everyone is in their own little groups and bitching is rife. My group of friends don't even hang about in the common room anymore, we go somewhere else; it has tea and computers. Not to mention it's actually open during free periods...
we've all come closer, I reckon! people who wouldn't have thought of speaking to each other last year are all pally-wally this year, and the messing about in the social area certainly breaks the ice pretty easy.
I've spent the last month of my 6th year in New Jersey so I love 6th year, because there are more opportunities than ever (although I admit this one was pretty special)

Our common room is so bad! Its in the middle of one of the buildings open for everyone to walk in and out! Its also only got dividors to seperate the 5th and 6th years, the only difference between us is we have cushioned chairs and the other have plastic and we have more area than them...... We don't have enough seats either!

Sixth year is quite a skive at my school.

We have a minimum requirement of studying 3 subjects if one or more of your subject's is a AH's. And a minimum of 4 subjects if no AH's.

For each subject, we get it 6 times a week, Once a day with one day double period.

The other times (free periods) can be used for self study, going to town, going home or relaxing in the common room.

Some classes are a lot more lax, and we don't always have to turn up. If the teacher is off, we don't get replacements or anything so it counts as another period off.

All in all, it's pretty fun and pretty good for socialising. Hell'a hard to focus on school work and actually work hard though.

Oh and our common room is S6 only, it's not too big and gets really crowded in during lunch/break. There's a half broken pool table and some tv's and some game consoles and chairs and tables to play cards on.

I'm doing 1 AH, 1 H, 1 crash higher and a sports coaching award. (Wish I could have done more AH but my school doesnt do French and I panicked and dropped English which looking back was really silly)

Get 6 periods of each subject a week and 6 periods off. But Ive managed to fill up 4 of these periods and most of my lunch times doing something prefecty like tuckshop, helping the first years and all that which I really enjoy doing... but its tooooo much!

Quite fascinated with people doing core PE... we stopped doing that after S4 and even then I think we were down to 1 period a week...

at my school you get 9 40 minute periods a week (well its not a week, but that's confusing) for each higher and advanced higher you do, except for like AH english which is 11 and A2 art which is 18!!! :O silly
