Cambridge vs St Andrews - pros and cons, which would you pick?

Hey guys,

Just trying to make final uni decisions - surprisingly I thought I would instantly go for Cambridge, but I've also found myself getting quite attached to St Andews. I would have to say I slightly prefer some of the St Andrews modules, but I still love the Cambridge course - particularly the freedom in third year and the Tragedy paper. The options to take other subjects (I'm looking at langauges and classics) in my first years at St Andrews probably make the course appeal to me slightly more overall. However, having grown up in a very rural area, the city feel of Cambridge with the collegiate system means I prefer that environment.

Essentially the pros for each:
- Cambridge: environment, teaching style, reputation
- St Andrews: course, reputation

If anyone has any more pros, or any cons, that would help me to choose I'd really appreciate it!

(Come to think of it, if anyone has any opinions on my other choices - Durham, York, Newcastle - they'd be welcome too :smile:
