CASS MSc Actuarial Science vs UCL MSc Financial Risk Management

Hi all I am a statistician looking to move into the actuarial science field next year. I have offers to study Actuarial Science and Financial Risk Management at CASS and UCL respectively but am not sure about going to CASS since its not a RG university. Am l better off going to UCL, lm inclined towards this option as it will give me better employment prospects after l finish my studies. Thanks

I can't comment on which university looks better, but having checked the following, you don't really need the master's to get into the field:

UCL also doesn't appear to offer any courses that provide exemptions with IFoA:

Cass does appear to offer exemptions, so I'd guess it's more appealing to employers:

If you feel you're able to get into UCL, then it might be worth looking at other universities for actuarial sciences, should you feel the need to do a MSc in it.
bro?
really, is that going to be the new name
smh, that guy didn't do anything financial
OP go to UCL
Thank you all for the advice, l wasn't aware that CASS is changing its name- that changes everything for me.

''that changes everything for me''
how does it

tbh if they named it after some random black guy, who hasn't provided anything new to academia, i wouldnt go there
@taxonomy. I was now thinking that studying the Cass degree would be a quicker way to get to where l want to go but if the uni is changing its name then l am no longer sure if its the right university to go to.
