I'm confused could someone please explain what AS grades you need to apply to medical schools or do they just look at predicteds ?

The predicted grades you need for medicine depends on what university you're applying to.
They will take into account AS grades, but i think predicted grades are the one they look at the most.
Usually the entry requirements are somewhere between AAA to A*A*A. The lowest entry requirements I could find were the ones at Buckingham, with ABB.

Buckingham is a private university so unless you're very rich, I would avoid that. Their fees for medicine are £38,000 every year for UK students.

thank u for letting me know about that, I was getting excited lol but yeah I cant afford that.
