Is Pharmacy a good course?

So I recently found out that I have to get a degree in pharmacy rather than pharmacology, which has really narrowed down my options for universities. I really want to study in Scotland because I'll be closer to my family but I can only find three pharmacy courses in Scotland, RGU and two in Glasgow (which I really don't want to go to because my mum had a bad uni experience there and it's further away than I'd like).

So RGU it is. Does anyone know if the pharmacy course in RGU is any good? Or if it's difficult to get into? I'm getting mixed opinions from my friends and family so I thought I should ask anyone with actual experience. If it's not I'll probably consider pharmacology instead. Thank you!
