    I got this email from SOTON today. my interpretation are they want me to Do A level MATHS and also get two D's in BTEC National Diploma. i'm not sure if i fully understood it,

    Thank you for your email expressing an interest in Southampton.



    As well as 2 Distinctions (1 of which must be in Maths) and a Merit from your Diploma we would also require a Grade B in A-Level Maths as our courses have a high mathematical content. The maths contained within the diploma is not strong enough.

    Diploma maths is not good
