Harvard referencing qs

hey,
have a few questions regarding referencing...

1) I can't find the issue number on a journal, what will I do?
2)if it's more than one author writing the book, do I put et al in the reference in the main body, or would i write the three authors in the essay body
3)in reference list, do you seperate authors with commas, full stops or Ands
4) if you're referencing a chapter in the book, do you reference the author of the book or chapter in the list of references
5)do you put page numbers in reference list
6) with journal numbers and volumes, do you write 'volume' 'issue no' in the reference list or just the numbers
7) if I read a article, and they reference someone in their article and I want to use the reference, do i reference the articele I'm reading or the article they got it from or do I say, '.... refrenced in...' and how would that look on the reference list?

TIA if anyone can help or help with even one.

Hi  Has your university put on any training regarding proper referencing? At university level, most students find it best to use referencing software. One example is Zotero, which can also be connected to Google Docs. There are a number of tutorials available to help you get to grips with how it works and it is a great way of keeping track of your reading and ensuring your referencing is accurate. It's especially useful for longer projects, such as a dissertation.
If you cannot find the issue number for a journal article, there are a few steps you can take to properly cite the article without it:

Check for a volume number: Ensure that you have correctly identified the volume number of the journal. The volume number indicates the specific publication year or period in which the journal was released.
