You can be excluded from school for some temporary fixed period of time (normally called "being suspended") or permanently (normally called "being expelled"). If you have been expelled, that it's permanent.

You might find that they consider Sixth Form to be "separate" from the main school, in which case you might be allowed to rejoin for Sixth Form in Year 12. You'd need to contact the school to check their policy.

More of an issue, I'd have thought, would be the GCSEs you're presumably due to take in a few months time. Following permanent exclusion, your local council must arrange full-time education from the sixth school day. Has it been six school days since you were expelled? Has your local council been in touch?

(There's a little information on exclusion here.)
A school has the right to expel a student if that individual has done something particularly egregious. They don't have to take them back in the private sector.. Howsoever pressure can be put on them if a public services education provider from the local authorities. The school may reconsider their decision as can the private sector it is case by case.

It’s unlikely some schools will allow you back for your exams but you most likely will not be allowed to return for A-level you also may or be allowed to collect your results from the school they will be posted to you.
