do you think pineapple belongs on pizza?

me: never tried it
No.
Pineapple on pizza is a most heinous crime against italian pizzeria cuisine.
Merits all the harsh punishments favoured by the most traditionalist of italian pizza purists.
I wouldn't say it "belongs" on pizza, and any proper authentic Italian pizza would not be a pineapple-y one

But I would eat it pineapple is one of my favourite fruits so...

I honestly believe pizza and pineapple just don't have anything in common. It seems such an odd pairing and the idea of tasting it doesn't appeal to me really
I prefer dipping my pizza in milk.

Almost as offensive as chicken and pasta, which makes me itch with disgust

Union Jack Wearing Bulldog is not a fan of serving pasta and chicken together.
As much as he enjoys each individually, the combination is torrid.
Beef meatballs on pasta and chicken with chunky chips, hopefully deep fried with lots of oil.

For me, pasta is an entirely separate course from meat - particularly large chunks of meat which is how 'chicken and pasta' inevitable ends up being served. It's just a weird, inauthentic combination - and it doesn't even work from a culinary point of view.

It's also another example of a nasty Americanism - I dislike the way America so regularly ruins the food of other cultures by not understanding the basics, or just a tendency to gluttony and excess - which 'chicken and pasta' is a good example of.
People wanting pineapple on pizza is why we need neg reps back.
Yes, it deffo belongs on a pizza
Here we go again with a controversial subject in a food discussion!

No, almost combinations of toppings are not a good match for pizza.
