University of Leicester Adult Nursing Interview

Hi, I applied for Leicester for Adult Nursing and I have an interview soon. Can anyone tell me how their interview went and the sort o questions they asked?

Firstly nobody can give you any of there interview questions due to fairness for other candidates

Typical questions that you might be asked at your interview is

1) why have you chosen adult nursing over any other nursing fields ( children, mental health or midwifery).
2) why have you chosen this particular university to study your nursing degree
3) learn the 6 C's of nursing
4) look & read the NMC code of practices
5) NHS core values
6) why you want to be a adult nurse / nurse
7) how would you cope with stress
8) how will you cope with a bereavement while still being professional as a nurse while you are on shift and especially if you were attending to this particular patient while in hospital
9) dealing with a irritated patient or a family member
10) read over your personal statement as may be asked about it


I am not a student at Leicester but I am a NHS registered midwife
