It is really a struggle to sometimes manage everything at university, believe me you wouldnt be alone! However, as a student who works part-time, volunteering and also do uni work what worked for me the best is having time management skills. Set up a schedule that includes your academic work, social activities, and extra-curricular activities. This will help you manage your time and ensure that you're devoting enough time to all aspects of your life. Another important would be to make sure to prioritize your physical and mental health by getting enough sleep, eating a healthy diet, and exercising regularly. Taking care of yourself will help you stay focused and energized throughout the day. Lastly, I always let myself get rest days. Even though sometimes I can feel guilty about it, having rest days are really crucial as you prevent yourself from burning out and actually stay interested and motivated while doing your work.

That sounds really great :yep:

Any good study/revision tips?
For me it took me quite a time to create a good study routine but here is what I think works best for me!

Create a study schedule: This allows me to balance coursework with other responsibilities. Make a plan that works for you and stick to it. For me I usually like to work in pomodoro style which helps me to have a more structured schedule

Use multiple resources: Whether you're studying for a math test or writing an English essay, it's important to use multiple resources when studying and revising. This might include textbooks, notes, study guides, and online resources.

Focus on understanding concepts: Don't just memorize facts; focus on understanding the underlying concepts and principles. This will help you apply what you learn to different scenarios and problem-solving situations. Especially for law, reading case studies and understanding how the law applies is actually what matters, instead of memorizing the legal principles.

Practice active learning: Active learning involves actively engaging with the material, whether through taking notes, discussing with classmates, or applying concepts to real-life scenarios. This can help you retain information better than passive learning. For me flashcards work really well! It is really efficient to case law such as the facts and principles applied.

Remember, everyone has their own unique learning style, so don't be afraid to experiment and find what works best for you. With these tips, you can set yourself up for success in your academic pursuits!

Best wishes,

Saba
