Hi, I’ve applied for the MSc Applied Clinical Psychology course and I was just wondering what a typical full time timetable would look like? On the website it says that teaching days are on Tuesdays but would be helpful to know in advance what a typical week would look like!

Hi there,

During first year, many students choose to live in university owned accommodation as this means that you can mix with people from all different courses and meet lots of new people!

Living in university halls also means that you benefit from having our 24hr security onsite (incase you lock yourself out). Our accommodation is also based on campus so that you're never more than a 10 minute walk away from where your lectures may be held!

If you have any other questions, let me know!

Hi! I applied to the Physiotherapy MSc Programme and I was wondering what the breaks are like. I understand that because it is an accelerated 2 year program that holiday/break time would be less than the BSc programme, but I was wondering if we do have any break time/how long are they?

Does it depend on placements?
How many days is our Christmas break? Do we have a summer break?

Hi there,

Thank you for your question. For our BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy course, qualifications will need to include Biology/PE modules such as Anatomy & Physiology and Physiology of Fitness.

For the best advice on whether you have the qualifications required for this course, I would recommend you reach out to our admissions team at [email protected] as the team may need to look at the modules you are studying.

Best wishes,
Sarah

Hi!
I just wanted to ask how the overall experience is during the initial years of medical college? Also what should a new student expect in terms of coursework, clinical training etc.

Hi there!

The first 2 years of medical school are called your pre-clinical years and this is where a lot of the theory is learnt. Between the modules, you learn different medical and communication skills relevant to your year of training, learn about the human body in a systematic format and learn about the social side of medicine.

We were on campus 3-4 days a week depending on the week during pre-clinical years!

If you have any other questions please let me know!

Hello,
I want to know about the the foundation year for physician associate funds and loan ? How does that work will I have to apply separately for the foundation and 4 year MPHAS course or just for once and I'll be able to get the student loan for the whole program including foundation year ?
Please guide with this

Hi @Jvyb,

You would need to appy for the foundation year and then if you are successful in progressing to the MPAS (Hons) Physician Associate Studies programme you would apply for that the following year. Please note that there is currently no MPAS (Hons) Physician Associate Studies programme linked with a foundation year.

I hope this helps but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

All the best.
Laura
