Kingston University Library Facilities

When it comes to university, the library is certainly one of the most important places on campus. Well, you are there to study!

Each campus at Kingston University has its own library, providing students with resources and services to help them get the very best out of their degree. So whether you are in need of the right environment to study in, access to computers or need to find a book, you can visit any of the libraries at the University.

Here are some things our libraries have to offer:

Different study spaces:
There are various areas or rooms for working on group project, or locations dedicated for working in silence for when you really need to concentrate!

Computers:
Whether you prefer working on a pc or a mac, there are different options available for you. You can even loan laptops for short periods of time.

Books:
Each campus will have books specifically for the subjects specialising at that campus, and beyond.

Online resources:
Access to books and resources online, as well as access to a range of websites to find academic texts beyond what the university has.

Printers, scanners and photocopiers:
Scanning is free, while printing and copying has a small fee. You can top up your printing credit online.

Help desks for any questions you may have:
Need help finding something or don't know how something works? Just ask the friendly team at the desk.

Most libraries are open from around 9am-9pm and 11am-5pm on weekends, with the library at Town House on Penrhyn Road remains open 24/7 Mon-Fri during certain periods of the year. So if you are someone who prefers to study late into the night or you have tons of studying to do on the lead up to exams that may be perfect for you!

If you have any questions about our libraries, feel free to drop them below.
