recruitment consultant job questions

Hello guys,

had some questions about working as a recruitment consultant.

I am a new grad, yet to have a proper full time job due to some health issues.

I have heard a lot of horror stories about recruitment but a few ppl have also mentioned it is an ideal 1st job for young ppl if they lack work experience and can help them build confidence and many work environment skills, is this true?

I have also read some things about how recruitment commissions vary by which industry you recruit for but also there are some constantly stable ones? Does anyone know which might be the quite stable ones?

Also, is it true you just get sacked straight away if you don't meet target? Or is it just a normal job with a lower base salary than most plus chance to earn high commission if you put in long hours?
