ECONOMY

What is most important -growth or inequality???
I mean, rising inequality would entail an effect on economic output, both positive or negative but in this world- presumably negative. Your question is unclear as economic growth is always seen in a positive light while inequality, not so much conventionally, so importance in what sense? Generally, economic growth is an expected outcome and rising inequality will certainly garner more attention and in that sense will be more important but that depends on the kind of inequality. If you are to look at it from an alien eye though then as long as output is increasing and the economy growing, it doesn’t matter how resources are distributed. Even if it did matter (what most if not all economists will tell you); its importance still remains, on peaks higher than before. My bonafide answer will be economic growth but it is still based on my personal assumptions so in reality you can only just try to answer the question, not solve it. The answer to your question is undefined.
