Is it normal to write 3 detailed paragraphs for an 8 marker in psychology.
In our school, we stick to the structure:

I was recently writing an 8 marker and I find it extremely hard to believe that all of that is required for a simple 8 mark question. Especially as I have alot of information to write and barely any time. How am I supposed to work on timing when theres other longer marked questions such as 16 & 20 markers?

Any tips would be helpful!

The bottom line is to get all of the marks. As long as your structure is reasonable, with enough organisation, it's fine. You don't need to use three paragraphs.
Wait until you get to uni. I've done a fair few assignments where it's required a page of calcs and text just for 1-2 marks :badger:
