I am going to be doing my GCSE's soon and still struggle with the creative writing part of the test. Please may someone provide a 'plan' that I can elaborate and expand on, because I am clueless of where to start. I was thinking along the lines of the theme of War. A man (me, as the author, first-person narrative), who is sent to fight in the war ...

possible lines i came up with:
'bullets fizz and ricochet past me'
'mud claws up my legs pull me down'
'me and somebody else and somebody else all clamber and pull ourselves across into enemy lines, I don't know them, they don't know me, but we are all each other have...'
