Semi Targets for IB?

Hi,

Was wondering about the semi targets for BB IB firms.
How do Bristol, Manchester, Durham, KCL stack up against the usuals.

Thanks,

Obviously people's views differ both on which are unis are targets/semi-targets as well as the utility of thinking in this way, but I would say the general consensus is that Oxbridge, LSE, imperial, UCL and Warwick are the targets. Semi-target are Bath, Bristol, Nottingham, Durham and Kings.

Worth remembering this is the broad consensus view, and that you could definitely have more competitive candidates at non-targets than targets even, this is just based on averages.

Agreed, someone doing physics at Bath or Exeter with A*AA is probably a better candidate than geography at UCL/Warwick AAB

Hi all ,I've been firmed to study Financial Mathematics at University of Nottingham (With a potential of swapping to Maths and Economics) .Is UoN still considered prestigious enough to have a crack at landing future Investment Banking and financial jobs? Or would it be worth reapplying for a uni that is considered more of a target uni?A level ResultsA* Maths , A -Further Maths , A -Physics , A- Product Design , A Welsh Baccalaureate qualification. Thanks for any feedback!
