2023 Discover Bath Programme

I recently found the summer school for Bath and I was wondering if I could still apply without the Widening Participation Criteria?

It says on Bath’s website “If you do not meet our widening participation criteria then unfortunately you won’t be eligible for Discover Bath but you may wish to consider our Step into Bath residential instead.”

If you want to look into Step into Bath, it is a two-night residential which costs £250.

Hi,

This is a brilliant question, unfortunately our Discover Bath Programme is specifically designed for students with Widening Participation criteria. This is so we can give them more specific support and guidance on the residential as well as an opportunity for students to meet others coming from similar backgrounds.

As another user has helpfully put, we do have other residentials which are open to everyone, such as Step into Bath which is:

"Step into Bath is a 2-night residential summer school for Year 12 students who are on track to meet our typical offer and who are considering applying to Bath for 2024 entry."
