Msc Clinical Psychology in University of Exeter? Russell Group really matters?

I have been accepted for a master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Exeter. However, I am not interested in the courses and is it reasonable to choose it only because it is a Russell Group University?

Is there an advantage of graduating from a Russell Group university when applying for a Ph.D. or DClinPsy?
Hi,
If you don't like the look of the course I would probably recommend not doing it. Even if the Masters is for only a year, you will be spending a lot of time and money on something that you don't enjoy very much. Definitely go with another option, one you find more interesting and actually want to do!
Remember, if you are applying for PhDs or other postgraduate/research courses, your passion for the subject will shine through if it is something you actually really enjoy doing - this is probably more important than whether the university is part of the Russell Group!

Hope this helps,
