English Language A level as an Independent Student

Is it possible to do an Alevel English language study and exam as an independent student! Is it possible to home study and not have a teacher then sit the exam at a centre?

I’m an adult and I have grade 8 English language GCSE, also a C in Olevel English Literature.

Thanks.

You can do this yes! You just have to pay to enter with an exam centre (this will usually be upwards of £150, and can get quite pricey), and you might also struggle a bit more compared to students who have access to teacher support obviously.

One thing I'd also keep in mind is that exam centres can be relatively far from you depending where you live, so you might have quite a way to travel to your exams! And I'm not 100% sure who would mark your coursework without a teacher so it might be worth contacting some exam centres to ask these kinds of questions.
