Question about exam resits

Is it wise to resit an exam for a better grade although I do not neccessairily need the grade. Basically considering it for self-satisfaction.

You have to declare both grades on UCAS so it is a bit pointless.

Generally it isn’t a great idea - you’d have to declare any resits on UCAS which may make your uni application look less competitive and I’m pretty sure you’d have to pay to resit.

I also wouldn’t think about resitting right now when you have plenty of other exams coming up that you would be better spending your time preparing for.
