AQA A level biology maths question HELP!!!

This is from the 2021 paper 1 and I am so confused as I got log10(10^9.15 / 10^6.3) over log10^2 and I haven't got the right answer... I got 9.47 rounded. The answer is 0.84 rounded.

I think your 9... is the number of generations. So thats in 8 hrs so each generation takes ... which is what the question asks for.

Sorry I'm a bit confused what you mean? Do you mean 9.47 / 8 ? Because thats 1.2

If you have 9 generations in 8 hrs, then each generation will take < 1 hr?
oh my god so 8/9 now i feel so stupid!! All that for 2 marks god i hate biologoy hahaa
