Is this sus - boyfriend
My boyfriends ex is a artist and she paints the renaissance, recently he's been constantly watching documentary on a renaissance and wanting to draw/paint it. this just came out of nowhere, he's never had any interest in it before. Im starting to sus that he's talking to her behind my back and doing this to get her back or something or peak her interest. Idk what to do i just want to cry. For reference he's an engineer that has a hobby of art but he's always been interested in like cyperpunk style. my heart is literally sinking.

( are there any other signs that he might be talking to his ex like being secretive with his phone etc? maybe u could sit and watch one of the docus with him and try to spark a convo with him about what’s suddenly inspired him?
however if he’s interested in art it might just be that he’s exploring new things?
