Is colorimetry and calorimetry the same thing?

colorimetry is used to measure light absorbance or transmission using specific filters and can be used to measure the rate of reaction e.g. enzyme catalysed reactions or continuous monitoring
calorimetry is used to measure enthalpy changes e.g. copper calorimeter allows temperature change to be worked out for a given mass of fuel burned etc - links to energetics in as chem

Calor is also latin for heat if that helps!
