CAS for PhD extension

I applied for extensions of study which covers a period of from 13/5 and up to 15/9 . My current visa expires on 12/9., which means CAS will be issued from 13/9 to 15/9. Which is just for 3 days.
The UKVI should add on these 3 days four months, so my new visa will be valid until 15/1/2024.
Do you think if I apply for a new visa that I will be granted the visa with such a short CAS period?
