Study plan

How do I make a proper and effective study plan for exams

Start with a detailed audit of what needs to be revised. Number of subjects / questions. Work out the weightings for each item (what they are worth % wise). Grade each item according to how much revision needs to be done (e.g. minimum / medium / extensive).
Draw up a prioritised list of what needs to be focussed on. The broad rule being that you must focus on things that are important and need attention.
Then get your diary out and work out all of your revision slots / durations. Give each slot a particular item or items to revise. Revise in 45 minute chunks with a 15 minute break (this allows for consolidation of knowledge). Do what you can in the time allocated and do not overrun - it's important to keep working through the stuff that needs attention.
If you don;t have enough time to cover everything, then the subjects/questions that are reasonably well done already should only be given minumum time.
Hope this helps!
