MA Musical Performance

Looking to hear from others who have completed an MA in music performance.
I have a Bmus Degree from Ulster, currently studying social work which I absolutely love, but my heart and soul lies in music.
My plan is to possibly complete a masters part time while working once I graduate to help with costs, but is it worth all that stress?
I play irish trad, so am limited in where I can go. Limerick and RCS Glasgow being my top two choices, with a preference for Glasgow as Ive lived there previously. I had played with the idea of music therapy, but really want to give performance a go and I feel a masters in either of these universities will set me up with a strong connection of musicians.

Any thoughts of those who have been there?
Many thanks

While pursuing music therapy could offer a different path, it's evident that your heart is set on performance. A master's degree from either university would undoubtedly provide you with valuable connections and opportunities to hone your skills.
