What do I need to know for A-Level Computer Science?

Okay so.. I didn't pick computer science for GCSE because my teacher was sooo bad.. But im really interested in it, i found a sixth form that doesn't require me to have it picked for GCSE but i have no idea where to start.. I know as soon as i get there people will be wayyy ahead of me because they probably would have picked it for GCSE, and i don't want that to happen. So what exactly do i need to know for A-Level Computer Science, i need to know the basics and the hard parts.Thanks
