No entry for politician.

There are so many different jobs, over thousands in numbers. I have just taken the ones for the poll which seem to be popular for the majority. So, that is your goal in the future, to become a politician?

If by chemist, you mean a scientist specialising in (an area of) chemistry, then that’s my answer. Though pharmacists (also sometimes referred to as chemists) have a pretty cool job too.

I’m studying chemistry at uni.

Having a degree of just about any kind is the only real prerequisite for a number of jobs. So if for whatever reason I do decide a career as a chemist isn’t for me, at least in getting a degree I can get jobs in other sectors.

Yep, I meant a scientist specialized in an area of chemistry. No matter what an area. Don't forget to vote in the poll.

And just to tell you: sometimes I thought about a career as a chemist.

Fair enough.

No my goal but there are career politicians.

Just done exactly that.

Any areas of chemistry that you thought about in particular?

I was fascinating in analytic chemistry. To work in a laboratory with test tubes, conical flasks and so on to determine the quantities or to look for the chemical structures, you know. And what do you think for yourself in particular at the moment?

Definitely more specialised towards inorganic chemistry and the design of catalysts. After all, making advances in catalyst design is one of the first steps in making industrial chemistry just that bit more environmentally friendly.
