Do you enjoy neuroscience? is it a good degree? (please be honest)

I am going into year 13 and thinking of doing a Neuroscience and Psychology degree. Neuroscience is something that i am interested in, however after looking at relatively low student satisfaction rates for neurosci courses, I thought it would be best to ask to those doing neuroscience: Do you enjoy your degree? Why/why not? if not then what would you pick instead?

Hopefully this is a case of bad statistics, but please be honest in your answer regardless. cheers.

Hiya, sorry I can't really help but I feel I am in the same boat as you.
I did psychology for GCSE and found it really fun, especially the neurology side of it but then moved schools so couldn't do it for A-level (something that I would have really enjoyed). Now I'm looking at doing medical research in the future and maybe specialising on neuroscience as that's something I'm interested in. So I've looked at lots of biomedical science courses and lots partially focus on/ have honors in neuroscience. But I don't know if a biomedical course would be more useful in case I change my mind as I could still do neuroscience in the future as its a related degree- I think?
Sorry for my rambling- I don't know if it will help or it is what you are interested in at all but you could look at biomedical courses? The student satisfactory rate looks decent on most too :smile:

Thanks for the reply and yeah i might look at some biomed courses. I am currently doing humanities subjects for A-level (I wanted to do law when i chose them) so i will take a gap year to do an access course anyways where i can see what parts of biomed i enjoy and if i should specialise in neuro or not. I hope you figure your choice out too :smile:
