Should I get a remark?

So I got a B for religious studies in my a level. But I was literally one mark off an A. It was 255 for an A and I got 254 😐 I'm so tempted to get a remark but I don't wanna pay and it not be changed.

Had anyone been this close and got a remark and ended up with a higher grade?

I didn't do RS but given it's an essay subject I would go with a remark if it's a big deal to you. Given the marking is subjective and can go + or - 1 mark on each question, and not be changed by a senior examiner it's likely you may luck out and get over the boundary. Though, do think about the consequences of a remark - your grade could go down drastically (unlikely if you're on the boundary) but make sure the remark can't screw your uni choice up etc.
