I failed to submit my dissertation defferal

I failed to submit my dissertation defferal

Due to mental health (Bipolar disorder and BPD), I have not handed in my course dissertation deferal.
(Deferral means uncapped retake).
Or at least I plan on not handing it in.

Does anyone have a similar experience?
Am I able to do dissertation remotely next year perhaps?
