TEFL course alongside studies
I'm due to start my first year in university, and was wondering whether it is wise to also begin a TEFL. My uni degree isn't really to do with English, but I've always considered teaching English abroad and I'd like to have a back up plan for the future. Is this wise?

Hi!
It is definitely doable and many people do complete a TEFL or TESOL course alongside their studies. However, before you decide, consider how much work you will have for your degree (some require more independent work than others), consider how well you can stay onto of a larger workload.
