applying for dentistry/medicine??

this is my situation if anyone with experience can give me advice lol

- currently in year 12, doing chemistry, biology, history and english literature as my a-levels
- doing CREST research award
- TEFL certified
- £2000 fundraising completed
- founded medical society in my secondary school
- editor of english department blog
- GCSE’s: eight 9’s, two 8’s
- BSMS virtual work experience
- Coronary heart disease course - 20hrs
- dental implant introductory course - 30hrs

I am trying so hard to get work experience but it feels literally impossible at the moment!! I have emailed countless dental practices - anyone have any advice? also have inquired with professionals that I know but it never seems to go anywhere??

do I have a good potential application for dentistry/medicine?
what are the pros/cons of doing dentistry/medicine?
how can I improve my application??

I realise this is all over the place but I need advice lolll!!

(edit: I know it seems like I am overwhelming myself with extra/super curricular but I’m planning to have them all done in year 12 so that in year 13 I can focus on a levels & BMAT/UCAT)

Oooh! Well done! I’d you’re applying to medicine and get a decent ucat, you should consider Exeter and qmul as they take preds into account when shortlisting
