Cambridge Deferred Entry
I am looking to apply to Cambridge university this year on an undergraduate course, however wish to start in the academic year of 2025, so a deferred entry. This is because I would like to take a gap year, but still want to apply this year so I can have my schools help with UCAS and personal statement. However, I am confused by the information on Cambridge's website, so I'm not really sure if I can put a deferred entry on my UCAS form or not. Will Cambridge accept this? Can anyone help out?
Just contact cambridge and/or the college you plan to apply to and ask. I think most colleges and courses consider applications for deferred entry but some might not? I don't think there's any blanket rule against it as far as I know, unless it's changed recently.
